Counsel for the

SVETLANA DIMOVSKI, PhD, MCC

I work with chief executives and senior leaders at the moments that ask the most of them — when the company and the person at the helm are being remade at the same time.

About Svetlana Dimovski, PhD Executive Counsel & Coach

A scientist by training, a global business leader by experience, and the holder of the highest credential in the coaching profession. What that adds up to in practice is straightforward: clearer thinking, wiser decisions, and a leader who stays themselves under pressure.

HOW I HOLD THE WORK

What a leader is really choosing
when they choose a counsel.

Credentials may open the door. However, the valuable transformation comes from many other things, built over a particular career.

I see what's forming

I began my career as a materials scientist, trained to notice how change begins below the surface. That discipline still shapes how I listen.

In work with senior leaders, the real issue often appears first as a small signal: a shift in judgment, trust, readiness, alignment, or authority. My role is to help bring that signal into focus and awareness before it becomes the problem everyone is forced to manage later.

I think in systems

Engineering and two decades in global business taught me to read structures and dynamics: how decisions move in an organization, where trust holds, where it begins to fray, and which lever actually changes the system.

That is how I work with senior leaders — with the person and the system in view at the same time. Because leadership is rarely only about knowing the right move. It is knowing when the organization is ready to receive it.

I stay steady

I grew up in the former Yugoslavia during the civil war and the collapse of the system around it. I learned early what pressure reveals, and how quickly certainty can disappear. This taught me to meet human complexity without flinching.

In working with senior leaders, steadiness is part of the counsel: staying present when the room becomes charged and helping people make conversation matter.

I keep perspective

Pressure has a way of making everything feel immediate. I help widen the frame without losing the detail: what is happening now, what has been building over time, and what the situation is really asking for.

In executive leadership, perspective is the differentiating discipline of seeing what matters while others are pulled toward what is loud, familiar, or urgent.

THE SHORT BIO

About Svetlana

Svetlana Dimovski, PhD, MCC, is the founder of Dharma Growth LLC and an executive counsel, leadership coach, and strategic advisor to CEOs, founders, senior executives, leadership teams, and boards. Her work helps leaders navigate growth, transition, reinvention, high-stakes decisions, and AI-era transformation through The Ground Work™, a whole-person approach to grounded leadership, clarity, and impact.

HOW I WORK

Direct enough to be impactful. Steady enough to go deep.

The hardest moments in a career rarely call for a single quality. They ask for two at once — judgment and maturity, ambition and restraint, speed and values, technology and human sense. Most leaders are strong in one of each pair. The work is learning to hold both. The present times need integral leaders and a thought partner who can steady the pressures and polarities at once.

What conversation feels like

Warm, direct, and intellectually serious. The conversation is spacious enough for honesty and rigorous enough to create momentum. You will be listened to closely and challenged respectfully when a challenge serves the work.

What you leave with

You leave with insight you can use: in how you influence, communicate, decide, relate, and lead under real conditions. Not something to just think about, but something that changes what you do next.

“Who we become can remain a habit or be made into a choice. My work is helping people meet that choice with clear eyes.”
